Sharad is responsible for technology at QLC.

A pioneering Internet technologist in the country, Sharad started his career with NCST in 1991, where he worked (and studied) for two years. Following that he was part of the start-up team with Business India's aXcess Online - India's first private, email service provider. After almost three years there, he left to start up QLC with Ajit Menon.

At QLC he is the principal architect of the best-selling PostMaster email server and various allied services offered online. Under his guidance, QLC has been a leader in the messaging communications space, has received multiple accolades and was showcased by NASSCOM for IT Innovation in India.

Sharad is also the founder of DigitalGlue, an Internet Technologies company with a focus on security, and the producer of MailVault.

Ajit is an alumnus of IIM Bangalore (1991), after which he worked in Sales with Titan Watches Ltd. followed by a stint with Marico Industries Ltd. in their Exports division. He left MIL in 1995 to start QLC with Sharad Popli. At QLC, he handles Business Development along with Sales & Marketing.

Man of few, albeit very articulate, words, Ajit, is an expert on Front-End Interfaces, an area ignored by many. He firmly believes that what matters as much as the content on a site or in a software program is how users interact with it.

With over 20 years of industry experience, Cyrus is the quintessential information Technology executive, with hands on experience in Data Processing, Management Information Systems and IT enabling organizations. Cyrus started his career as a lecturer, and moved on to a 5 year stint in a US based company where he led the software development team in India that designed & developed a hardware / software solution for weather data collation and distribution.

Cyrus is an active participant/ contributor to several publications and technology associations. At QLC, Cyrus is the "General Manager - Technical" and handles system architecture & design, quality assurance & control, project planning, release management and support escalation.

Sunil Nair started his career with Hindustan Lever in 1988, where he went on to head the Institutional Business. Sunil then joined Marico as the Key Accounts and Institutional Manager, after which he set up the retail operations for Inchcape PLC in the Middle East based out of Oman. On his return, he took up an assignment with Goodlass Nerolac Paints as the Regional Head for the Western Region, and moved on to a Greenfield project of setting up the retail distribution network at Saint Gobain. Before joining QLC he was the Head of Spares Business with Mahindra and Mahindra.

At QLC, Sunil is the "General Manager- Sales", and handles the entire sales operations for pan-India as well as international.

Jignesh is the 'original' employee at QLC. He joined in 1995, right when QLC was established, and continues to grow with it, even today. His over 12 years of experience in QLC have seen him work in varied fields like AntiSpam solutions, AntiVirus Solutions, online gaming zones, standalone education applications and Portal development.

At QLC, he is "Senior Manager- Technical" and is in charge of technology side of QLC's Institutional Business. He handles Software Development for communication based applications and heads technical operations of our online services like MailServe, MailDirect, SMSDirect etc.

Nilesh Shah, "Senior Manager - Sales", is in charge of Sales & Marketing of QLC's Institutional Business. He has over 10 years of experience in sales, during which time he has worked in the territories of Mumbai, NCR, Maharashtra and Gujarat. He has a vast amount of experience in the field of key-account management, channel management, software selling and enterprise solutions. He has also worked in the fields of project management and software testing.

Today, he spearheads the sales and marketing initiative for MailServe, MailDirect, SMSDirect, SpamFree and SmartFTP. He also looks after our enterprise business, which comprises of services for co-location servers and dedicated servers.
